Almost as exciting as the announcement of the Nobel Prize in Economics
are the lectures given by the winners, since they usually provide very good overviews of their work and explain why their work is meaningful and relevant. The good news is that the lectures are steamed online
. The bad news is that, since the lectures are held in Sweden, they are held at 7am Eastern Standard Time tomorrow, December 8th. Those of you who are early birds should check them out, and I think they will be posted online permanently at some point for those late risers among us.
