NPR's Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me! is meant to be a comedy quiz show, but it's often also a good way to learn about current events and other random things. For example, one of the segments of the show is entitled "Not My Job," and it features famous-y people answering questions about things that are, not surprisingly, not their jobs. This segment in Saturday's episode featured none other than Nobel laureate (and New York Times blogger) Paul Krugman, or, as the Wait Wait hosts put it, "the Mick Jagger of political/economic punditry."
In addition to answering questions (mostly correctly), Krugman talks a bit about what the dual role of pundit/economist is like as well as the grueling logistics of winning a Nobel Prize. You can listen to the podcast of the segment and read a transcript here, or, if you have an iPhone, you can stream the show on demand from the app offered by 90.9 WBUR in Boston.
