StickK Failure Money - Letting the Econ Blogging Community Decide

Tuesday February 26, 2008
Last week I mentioned that I am planning on joining StickK.com in order to provide the proper incentive to meet my goal of getting back into shape. Unfortunately I was having some difficulty deciding who should get my failure money, should I fail at my goal.

I decided that the best decision was to let others decide for me. I reached out to a number of economics blogs, explained my situation and said:
If I fail at my goal, I will pay your blog, or the charity of your choice, $100.
They can keep the money, give it away or burn it in a sacrificial bonfire. It is up to them.

Greg Mankiw has chosen that his $100, should I fail, go to the National Council of Economic Education.

I will post the full details of the contract once I hear back from the various economics bloggers.

Why am I using StickK? See: How Economics Can Help You Keep Your New Year's Resolutions.
